Rice is the main dish in Indonesia and for many Indonesians it can't be called a meal if we're not eating rice. However, too much consumption of rice could cause diabetes and I've been worried about my health lately, as I eat many unhealthy foods. So... to have a healthier life, I decided to join the challenge with some of my colleagues.
My colleague at the office has started a challenge and people are welcome to join it. The challenge is that we can't eat rice, noodles or bread, so we have to replace our source of carbs, plus we have to eat more vegetables and fruits. It was tough at first but as time goes by, we are getting better at eating healthier foods! We started to work out together as well and our bodies are changing in a better way! Our next challenge would be no fried foods and that's going to be more difficult than anything else. I know that it's not going to be easy, but I'd like to challenge myself to see what I'm capable of. Challenges are good for human development -and there's nothing bad with having a healthier life anyway! Which healthy steps are you taking?
