"A day well spent brings a week of contents", how much do you agree with this statement?
I sometimes go back in time and think about what would have happened if something was being done or decided differently back then. I watched a drama tonight which made me realise how timing is crucial, for example when you only have 5 minutes left, you might miss something that should be yours to take. I remember that during my 4 years of college life, I always had a thing with this guy, we were not classmates, but we took two classes together each week. I kind of liked him at first, but it turned out he was taken, so yeah, I pushed those feelings away. Eventually had a boyfriend and I never again thought about the feeling I had for this other guy.
Do you ever think about how much you try to do good in this life?
I met my best friend today and we talked a lot until it came to the subject of abortion.
Did I mention my new kittens? I calculated there are 8 cats that live under the same roof as me, so I decided to gave away some of my kittens.
Today I'll share a story about a man who found out his HIV status, how he tried to live things up since day one and how he struggled.
"I live in Johannesburg, South Africa. I am a white male.
Years ago I dated a HIV-positive man. He seemed to be in a lot of denial, always worried about me and never about himself. I needed to educate myself and I wanted to somehow educate him, so I shared this story.
I sometimes think about myself, about how other people see right through me.
I don't like being alone, because it makes me feel lonely. And that's what I believed in all this time. Although humans are social beings and need to interact with others, sometimes we still need to be by ourselves, alone. I told you that I don't like being alone, but for a couple of days I really enjoy being alone. Totally opposite of what I believe in!
Last weekend Dita and I had a quick lunch with our friend. For me, everything went well and normal, until when we were about to part ways... Suddenly my friend asked me a question: "Is there anything wrong with you? You don't seem like your usual self." I was kind of shocked when she asked me that and I answered: "There are many things that are floating in mind and it's hectic at the office, but everything's OK."
Enter our territory and follow the days of the lives of the protagonists of our project. On this page they will tell you everything about their work with Bali Against Aids. This blog will be their online diary: an opportunity for them to share their experiences and to give you a sneak peak into their life.
Enjoy the ride!
