Thanks to AVERT! I read their timeline and found a very interesting factsheet about myth on HIV-AIDS. It’s a very important information and worth to read, not only for young people, but for all! Since most of the myth are frequently asked by people. Well, some of the questions have been asked to me as well during my outreach activity. So now, I will write down some from the factsheet here. Check it out:

A few hours to go before the world’s biggest football tournament! And I can feel the excitement of the soccer lovers all around the world already. Yeah, are you guys ready for the World Cup 2014? I guess you are! But do you know that there is one unique thing in this 2014 FIFA World Cup? If you don’t, then let me tell you now. It’s the Protect the Goal.
I think that through the years of sexual education we’ve established that a condom is THE most effective tool to protect yourself. If you didn’t know this yet, well … now you do! Condoms protect you against the transmission of HIV and other STD’s and prevent unplanned pregnancy. We should all keep safe and carry one! Sometimes it’s easier said than done. It's not easy to get condoms to some very hard-to-reach parts of the world. Right now I’m talking about some villages in Tanzania. Tanzania has a lot of health issues: HIV- patients occupy 50% of hospital beds and women have a 1 in 24 lifetime risk of dying during childbirth. I read about this on the website of Cosmopolitan magazine.
In 2011 Joe Nelson launched TheyFit Condoms, the world's first custom-fit condom line. Before TheyFit Condoms, Joe worked as a trader for the famous investment bank Goldman Sachs, but after the economic crisis and the scandals of 2008 he decided to change the direction of his career. Joe said he wasn't feeling completely OK with his job anymore; after 2008 he would only say that he worked in finance, without mentioning the name of his workplace.
The video I want to share with you today shows the innovative design of a condom wrapper that can be opened using only one hand. Quite cool, uh? The project, by the British designer Ben Pawle, was selected and exhibited in 2012 by The Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
The new phase of the Act Against AIDS project by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is addressed to the gay and bisexual community in America. Its name is ‘Start Talking. Stop HIV' and it focuses on the importance of talking about safe sex with your sexual partner(s) before engaging an intercourse.
Hi everyone! I don’t know why, today I feel like I want to write something about a young and talented celebrity. After scrolling Bali Against AIDS timeline on twitter, my choice goes to the young and talented singer from Bali, Gede Bagus Perdana Putra.
Enter our territory and follow the days of the lives of the protagonists of our project. On this page they will tell you everything about their work with Bali Against Aids. This blog will be their online diary: an opportunity for them to share their experiences and to give you a sneak peak into their life.
