I can't help thinking that this is actually what people think about my job for ‘Indonesia Against AIDS’: some of my friends and family members are very supportive towards my job, some others are the opposite of that. There are several reasons why they don't support me: culture, religion and other beliefs. I keep reminding them that my intention for working in this NGO is to help people getting the correct information about HIV/AIDS. I also believe that I'm doing the right thing.
What I learned through this movie and my own experience is that people have different ways of thinking, which leads to different decisions being made. Don't forget this and respect their –and your!- decisions.
