But it’s different for one of my friends: she does believe in love at first sight and admits that she experienced it herself. As for me... I have a different belief in love at the first sight...it’s like this Indonesian phrase that says: ‘You can’t love a person without knowing him/her.’ I think that if you feel something special for someone at first sight, it’s not love, it’s just you being attracted by him/her. And once you know each other, by being friends with him/her, you can find out something more about him/her and the feeling of love can start growing inside you.
According to the annual “Singles in America” survey of more than 5000 singles aged 21 to 70-plus, sponsored by dating site Match.com, 59% of the men and 49% of the women said in 2014 that they believe in love at first sight and 41% of men and 29% of women say they have experienced this already. Somebody also said that love at first sight is real if you believe it is. So, are you a believer in love at first sight, or do you think it’s wishful thinking? Whatever choice you take, make sure to spread your love safely!
