We were enjoying the Grammy Awards- including the #SameLove live weddings- and our excitement grew and kept on growing when we learned how many Friends of DAA won one or more statuettes!
 Homophobia is rife in Russia. LGBT people are facing increasingly harsh treatment at the hands of authorities. Attacks on gay people are rising, in a country where homosexuality has been classified as a mental illness since 1999. In short, the Russian gay community needs help.
